If your grocery bill keeps creeping up, you're not imagining it, and you're not alone. Everything costs more than it used to, and groceries are one bill none of us can skip. My Aisle Buddy exists for one reason: to help you spend less on the same groceries.
Why we built this
Finding the cheapest place to buy eggs, milk or chicken shouldn't take an afternoon of opening store websites and doing math on the back of a receipt. Prices for the same item can be very different from one store to the next, even a few minutes apart. Most of us just don't have the time to check.
So we do the checking for you. You tell us what you need and where you are, and we line up the stores near you, cheapest first.
Who's behind My Aisle Buddy
Hi, I'm Pablo. I live in Florida, and like a lot of people, I've watched my grocery bill keep climbing. I built My Aisle Buddy for myself first, to see which stores near me gave me the better value, so I wasn't paying the most for the least. Now it's here for you too.
I run the site on my own, so when you write in about a wrong price or a store you'd like added, I'm the one who reads it.
How it works
- Search an item and your ZIP code. Eggs, a gallon of milk, your usual coffee.
- We check the stores near you. Kroger, Walmart, Target and more, with new stores added over time.
- You see the real cheapest. We rank by unit price (per egg, per ounce, per pound), so a bigger pack can't fool you.
Some meat is sold in packages whose weight varies, like a 1.25 to 3.25 lb tray of chicken. For those we show an estimate from the middle of the range, with a “~” in front (~$2.59/lb). Estimates are sorted with everything else, but we never call one the cheapest.
What we believe
- Unit price comes first. The sticker price only tells half the story. Price per ounce or per egg tells you what you're really paying.
- Store brands count. Great Value, Kroger, Good & Gather and other store brands sit right next to the name brands, so the cheapest version wins.
- Deals should be real. We don't show sale prices that have already ended.
- Saving money should be free. No account, no sign-up, no paywall.
- No judgment. Everyone's budget is different. We're here to help, not to tell anyone how to shop.

Buddy is the little cart in our logo. Think of Buddy as the frugal friend who always knows where things are cheapest this week and is happy to tell you.
How we make money
Some links to delivery services, like “Get Publix delivered with Shipt”, may be paid links. If you use one and place an order, the service may pay us a small commission, at no extra cost to you. Every paid link says “Paid link” right next to it. Money never changes which prices we show or their order: results are always ranked by unit price.
A few honest notes
Prices come from what stores list publicly and can change quickly. The price at the register, online or for delivery can be different from what we show, so it's always worth a quick check before you head out. We're an independent site and aren't affiliated with or endorsed by any of the stores we compare.
